Thoughts from the Casa #2

Just Be There
On the first morning, guests sometimes still ask, “May I have a cup of coffee?” The next morning, they might even come out of their room still in their pajamas, make themselves a cup of coffee at the machine, and then head back to their room with it. We love moments like these.
We get to know each other pretty quickly around here. We know who likes to have some peace and quiet in the morning, who lingers over breakfast, and who puts on their hiking boots early. We run into each other, chat briefly about our day, laugh together, or just say “Buongiorno.”
We prepare breakfast, cook, tidy up the rooms, and take care of our homes and the many little things that are part of everyday life. Much of this happens without anyone really noticing. And some things we just know over time. If someone can’t eat a certain food, an alternative is already waiting for them at breakfast. We reserve a table for dinner or have an idea for a nice walk.
For our guests, too, many things quickly become second nature. You know where the glasses are, which seat you like best, and how to get your morning coffee. You no longer have to ask about everything. Perhaps it’s precisely these little things that make you feel right at home.
We're happy to take care of many things so that our guests can enjoy their stay with us in their own way.
Because their time at the Casa belongs to them.
