The daily train, postal and airplane connections ensure an easy and rapid access to Malcantone and to Miglieglia. We recommend two variations for arriving at the bus stop Miglieglia «Paese», which is nearby, ca. 100 m from our hotel.

Option 1:
 From Lugano Railway Station (traintrack 11):
Take the train (S60 FLP) to Magliaso «Stazione» (NOT Magliaso «Paese») and from here, take the Post Bus (423 or 427) to Miglieglia «Paese»

Option 2:
 From Lugano Railway Station:
Take the train (S10) to Lamone-Cadempino and from here, take the Post Bus (423) to Miglieglia «Paese»

Option 3: From Bellinzona Railway Station:
Take the train (S10 TILO and S90 TILO) to Lamone-Cadempino and from here, take the Post Bus (423) to Miglieglia «Paese»

‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌ With private car

By  travelling by private car, you can reach Ticino from the north via Lucerne and the Gotthard tunnel or via Chur and the San Bernardino tunnel. Or, during the summer months, via the magnificent alpine passes St. Gotthard, San Bernardino, Lukmanier or Nufenen.

Because of traffic-jams on work days between 4 pm - 7 pm we recommend the following "no traffic"-option 1 or 2 for reaching us:

Option 1 (35 min.): Leave the highway in Rivera. Then follow the mainroad to Lamone and going toward Gravesano on the mountain road with many curves via Arosio – Vezio – Breno until Miglieglia.

Option 2 (25 min.): Leave the highway in Lugano "Nord". At the first traffic light on the right going toward Gravesano on the mountain road with many curves via Arosio – Vezio – Breno until Miglieglia.

Option 3 (20-60 min.): Leave the highway in Lugano "Nord". At the first traffic light on the left on the main road going toward Bioggio – Agno – Magliaso – Caslano – Pura – Novaggio until Miglieglia.

In the village/Parking: There are plenty of parking places in the village (P1 at the Monte Lema cable car). In front of the hotel you can park temporarily for loading or unloading for 30 minutes only!

Electric Cars: Miglieglia has two recharging stations for electric cars!
