‌‌‌ “If you want to recharge the batteries, de-stress and enjoy a really peaceful yet envigorating time in the mountains you really can't do much better. The hosts are knoweldgeble, multi-lingual and attentive without being overly so and can provide lots of local information on what to do and where to go. Slept well and returned home calm and relaxed.” Nigel B. Basel, august 2014

‌‌‌ “Just a quick note to thank you for our wonderful stay in Miglieglia. We had a great time and we loved being at Casa Santo Stefano. We just felt so welcome! I loved cooking in your kitchen, and I especially loved breakfast. Mostly the Rhubarb/Elderflower jam. So good! I already highly recommended staying at your hotel.” Damon Bourne, Madison, october 2012

‌‌‌ “Angeli and Christian are proprietors whose goal is to provide a place where each visitor feels at home. If you enjoy hiking, they will offer perfect route suggestions. If you wish to enjoy the quiet of a beautiful scene while reading, they have a lovely Terrace. If you wish to cook your own meals, they will offer their kitchen as well as suggestions of where to buy the groceries. Breakfast was a delight, with marvelous coffee, delicious home-made bread, müesli with grated apple, and a variety of excellent cheeses.. The rooms are lovely, clean, open, beautiful. The hiking was marvelous, both up to Monte Lema as well as in the valley. Migleglia is a beautiful little town with two charming churches, two nice restaurants, and the sounds of a small mountain village. It also is easy to reach, and near Lugano and Bellinzona if other attractions are sought.” Joan, USA, october 2012

‌‌‌ “Our stay was perfect! Small but very cosy hotel in a tiny village far away from city noise and stress. Perfect for a long weekend break and hiking. The owners were extremly helpful and accomodating. The room is tiny but spotlessly clean in calm white-blue colors. The breakfast was delicious with freshly made bread, homemade marmalade and swiss muesli. Ideal location for hiking in the Mt. Lema region. We would definitely would like to come back once.” Young couple, may 2012

‌‌‌ “The hotel lies at the lower edge village center with lots of very narrow streets. The hotel is in a very well safeguarded, lovingly renovated Tessinerhaus accommodated. We had the suite. This is south-facing and offers a magnificent view over the malcantone. The room is bright, quiet and beautiful well-preserved ancient pieces of furniture. On a little comfort to nevertheless not do without. Bathroom is new. The content of the bed is very good and new was that Wiki furnished. This is available free of charge. The hotel is very suitable hiking. The hotel offers a small selection by superb wines from the region at very reasonable prices at. The bent terrace in the old ruins offers the wine peace to enjoy. The friendly host provide valuable tips for restaurants, hikes, markets or other excursions.” Kurt, april 2012

‌‌‌ “Albergo Casa Santa Stefano is a prime example of how a b&b can be run beautifully. Firstly, this is a proletarian hotel: room service is every two nights, the rooms are very clean but also simple (relatively small, no tv), but the atmosphere and the helpful nature of the staff is great. When you walk in, you still get greeted by one of the two hotel owners, get shown your room, and really any questions answered that you may have. The breakfast is outstanding! True Swiss breakfast: true Swiss Müesli (outmeal, condensed milk, water, lemon juice, grated apple, nuts, and berries), homemade Zopf (Swiss Sunday bread) and whole wheat bread, local cheeses and butter, local jams, juice, coffee, etc. The owner also urged anyone who was hiking to make sandwiches for the was with the breakfast. The kitchen is well-stocked and can be used by guests, there is also a great selection if Ticino wines, beers, etc., which can be taken by the guests and written down for charge upon check-out. This is a really wonderfully welcoming place.” Adrian Brügger, Florence (US), september 2011

‌‌‌ “The casa Santo Stefano is a small romantic hotel in the middle of Miglielia. Simple rooms, but nice and clean. A wonderful breakfast (vegetarian), everything is homemade, cheese from the region, fresh bread and müesli. Better than at a lot of 4-star-places. A peaceful place, the hosts are very helpful and you feel welcome - just like home.
Beautiful hiking in the region, a great view from the top of the "Monte Lema" - don't miss it!” Sonja, november 2011
